Project overview
Grupo Élite Organizacional trains, advises and audits management systems —ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 27001, 22000 and 37001, HACCP, GMP (BPM)— and specializes in anti-money laundering risk prevention under Colombian frameworks: SARLAFT, SAGRILAFT and PTEE. It operates from Bogotá, with an office in Lima and coverage across Latin America. We redesigned its website so that its two businesses —consulting for companies and selling training to professionals— stopped getting in each other’s way and lived under the same roof, and we developed the e-learning platform where courses are taught and certified.
The challenge
The underlying problem is a website that has to do two different jobs at once, and it breaks down into three:
Two visitors who have nothing in common. The manager who needs to implement SAGRILAFT wants a conversation; the professional who wants to get certified as an internal auditor wants to enroll tonight. The same button does not work for both.
Training is bought by calendar, not by catalog. Nobody signs up for a 150-hour diploma program without knowing the schedule, the exact dates and whether they can pay in installments. If that is not on the page, the question gets answered on WhatsApp or not at all.
Credibility is won or lost in the first few seconds. An international certificate is bought on trust. The track record, accreditations and reviews had to be in plain sight, not on an “About us” page nobody visits.
Goals
A home page that opens both doors —companies and individuals— without forcing a choice; courses that can be bought and paid for without leaving the site; a dedicated lead-capture page for each consulting service with the form in view; and a Grupo Élite team able to publish a course, change a price or open an enrollment period without depending on us.
The redesign, screen by screen

Four lines, one block
Training, Consulting, Auditing and Technology unfold in the same accordion. Someone who arrives looking for an audit discovers the other three without leaving the section, and the home page does not grow by four screens to make it happen.

Seven answers in the space of one
Methodology, portfolio, partnerships, corporate training, assisted virtual learning, international coverage and live classes share one set of tabs. It is the section that answers “why you” without turning into a wall of text.

The catalog is the home page
Courses and diploma programs appear with their artwork, price and current offer before visitors have to look for a menu. It is a store, not a brochure: each card leads straight to the program page.

The program page answers before anyone asks
Format, duration in hours, schedule and the full session calendar sit at the top, next to the price. Someone weighing a 150-hour diploma program needs to know whether it fits their calendar before anything else.

Paid on the site, with or without a card
The payment gateway accepts cards, PSE (Colombian bank transfer), Baloto and Efecty (cash payment networks), and programs can be financed. In open-enrollment training, half the sale is lost at the “write to us to pay” step: here that step does not exist.

One landing page per service, with its own form
Consulting services are not sold with a cart button. Each one has its own lead-capture page, with the form visible from the first screen and an anchor bar that organizes the rest of the read.

The track record, in three numbers
Companies supported, students and courses developed, set on the brand blue at the point of the journey where visitors have already seen the catalog and have not yet decided. The figures are maintained by Grupo Élite.

Reviews arrive on their own
Testimonials are pulled from Google, not from a file someone has to update. A student who finishes a course and leaves a review shows up on the home page without anyone touching the site.
What the project included
Behind the website, a classroom

The purchase ends at academia.gelite.org, the e-learning platform we developed for Grupo Élite, credited in its footer. It handles what the sales site cannot: student enrollment, classrooms with each course’s content, instructors, the calendar of upcoming events and certification at the end of the program. The two are separate on purpose —one sells, the other teaches— and visitors move from one to the other without noticing.
A website the client updates on its own
The training calendar changes every month: an enrollment period opens, a price is adjusted, a promotion launches with a deadline. None of that can wait for a development cycle. The site was built on WordPress with visual editing and an ecommerce catalog, so publishing a new course, changing a session’s schedule or activating a discount is done by the Grupo Élite team itself. The forms live in the CRM, so fields and recipients can also be changed without touching the site.
Technologies used
The track-record figures shown in the screenshots and on this page —sixteen years in operation, 2,950 companies supported, 49,580 students and 739 courses developed— belong to Grupo Élite Organizacional and are published on its own website. They are not a result of this project. The courses, prices and programs in the screenshots are likewise theirs.
